The 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor and DIGIC 6 image processor enables an ISO speed of up to 16000 for still photos and 12800 for movies to capture those high resolution images even in low light. The autofocus system uses a 45 point, all cross-type system that offers precise high speed performance even with moving subjects in low light. The Canon 80D can film in full HD 1080p video at 60fps that can be saved as MP4s for easy sharing. Built in WiFi and NFC allows convenient photo/video transfer, sharing to social sites, or remote shooting and photo printing. High performance features will ensure that your creative vision is captured without limitations.

24.2MP APS-C sensor and DIGIC 6 Image Processor
The EOS 80D is equipped with a high quality 24.2 APC-C sensor and DIGIC 6 image processor that allows you to take high quality images with great clarity at a quick pace. The camera is capable of using ISO speeds up to 16000 (can be expanded to 25600) to ensure your photos come out even when working with low-light. During continuous shooting, the 80D can shoot up to 7 fps to keep up with the action.

45 Point All Cross-type AF System
The 45 point AF system uses cross-type sensors for extremely reliable and rapid autofocus even in dificult situations. There are 4 types of AF area selection modes; Single point AF – select any one of the 45 points available, zone AF – select from 9 zones that detect the subjects automatically, Large zone AF – Manually select from 3 large zones and 45 point auto selection – automatically detects subjects from the 45 available points. The 45 sensors allow greater accuracy in all kinds of lighting conditions and help the camera maintain focus on moving subjects. While filming video the movie AF mode and dual pixel CMOS AF smoothly transition focus from one subject to another, no matter the distance from the camera.

Camera Body
The Canon EOS 80D packs in many heavyweight features while remaining agile at a lightweight 730g. The viewfinder has an intelligent display that shows you what settings are currently selected as well as helpful image parameters. With an approximate 100% coverage, there will be no guesswork when it comes to composition and framing.
The 80D comes equipped with a vari-angle 3-inch touch screen LCD monitor that pulls out, rotates and makes shooting handheld or with a tripod easy from any angle. The LCD is coated for protection which helps to minimize smudges and keeps the screen bright and clear even in direct light. The included battery is good for about 1,400 shots per charge.

Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity
The 80D comes with both Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity for added control and image sharing options. Many of the camera’s features can be accessed using a compatible smartphone, Including: viewing photos, changing settings, remote viewing and taking photos. The 80D can also interact with: other cameras, Canon connect stations, Wi-Fi printers, cloud solutions and computers.

Full HD 1080p Video
The EOS 80D DSLR doesn’t compromise when it comes to moviemaking features. The movie servo AF tracking helps lock focus on the action and keep the focus natural and smooth even in difficult shooting conditions. The audio levels can be set automatically or manually for convenience or to suit the needs of more experienced videographers. To round out the video features creative filters and the video snapshot feature will inspire you to make creative decisions with your video.
