The FujiFilm EF-X500 Speedlight is a powerful hot-shoe mount flash with extensive creative control options. The look and feel of the flash matches the X-series cameras. Like many of the X-series cameras it is also water and dust resistant so it can go wherever your camera does. This flash’s high power output gives you lots of options for bounce flash with soft highlights. For users looking to expand their creativity the EF-X500 is capable of high speed sync, wireless control, and can function as wireless master or slave in a multi-flash setup.

The EF-X500 is a capable Speedlight with a zoom range of 24-105mm (35mm equivalent) with 3 zoom head modes which can be used in manual or automatic mode (normal, power priority, and spread priority). The EF-X500 has a powerful guide number of 164’ at ISO 100 and 105mm.

The Fujifilm EF-X500 Speedlight can rotate 135° left and 180° right with the ability to tilt from -10° to 90° which gives you lots of options for bounce flash. This Speedlight offers an extensive level of control from both the flash menu and the in camera menu when shooting with the flash on the camera or remotely. The menu system is intuitive and quick to learn so you can be up and running in no time. The EF-X500 has a built in LED lamp to assist with autofocus, video illumination, and to create a catchlight in a subject’s eyes when using bounce flash. The EF-X500 is capable of saving up to 10 specific shooting settings, allowing you to recall and activate them quickly.

A hot shoe mounted EF-X500 can be used as a master for communicating with other Speedlights wirelessly or as an off-camera slave flash with TTL light balance.
