Since there are a wide variety of tripods out there that all look virtually the same, it’s easier to break your research up into several different questions.
- What kind of tripod head does it come with?
- What is it made of?
- How big is it?
- How much weight can it hold?
The tripod head is the most intricate part of the set up because frankly, none of them are the same. To give you a quick run -down of the head, let’s take a look at a basic one.
As you can see, this is the part where you would place your camera. The Quick Release Platform holds a “Plate” that is removable and once it is removed, you can attach it to your camera.The Tilt Lock is used to lock the ability to tilt the camera and the Pan Handle allows the user to easily maneuver the camera side to side and up and down.
