I used this tripod for shooting pictures in a cave yesterday. Most of the spaces I was shooting in were crawlways. The floors were rough and irregular, with mud and rocks. I want to say how exceptionally well this cheap little tripos worked for holding my video camera. It could be lowered to a few inches high or to maximum up to a foot tall. There aren't any twist locks or lever locks to deal with. Just grab the leg and bend it however you needed. If the camera was tilted just grab the camera and rotate it until it was level. The tripod bends as you move the camera and then holds it in place. Little or no noticeable bounceback. It was amazingly easy to use in the cramped space and held the camera rock steady.
